I have an awesome job. My girlfriend Maddie and I have a business called Scuba Sibs and basically what we do is get fully dressed in SCUBA gear, dive down to the bottom of lake Minnetonka, and pull weeds for hours almost every day. I wouldn't necessarily call it diving because the deepest we ever get is probably 10 feet. A more accurate description might be "Rolling around in the muck so that other people don't have to". Oh well. It pays well! In fact, I ultimately decided to quit my part time lifeguarding job so that I could focus my time on Scuba Sibs.
So why is it called Scuba Sibs you might be wondering? Maddie and her brother started the business last year and Max is interning in DC, so I was recruited to be her scuba mate!
I hope to go on SCUBA adventures sometime in my future-so far I've considered a few places in Door County, WI such as Garret Bay. It would be really cool to explore a ship wreck on the bottom of Lake Michigan! I can imagine that my work really prepares me for the worst in diving because I can hardly see when I'm diving in Lake Minnetonka due to the muck and silt. If the bottom of the ocean were to get stirred up while doing a more interesting dive, others might panic while I feel right at home-Completely blind.
